Funny things, if you google Calista Flockhart, you get back a bit over 200,000 hits, Harrison Ford, 400,000 hits, Nathan Fillion, a bit under 100,000 hits.. and Angelina? Leaves them all in the dust with 1,300,000.
I think it could be a bra thing, since Angelina is the only one who wears one.
I'm in a lot of pain this evening. I pushed it too hard, walked too much on top of a hard workout yesterday. But it was a lovely day. We went to C&M Used Books, and talked to Kathy for a bit, and I got some craft books. She has PILES of back issues of Dragon Magazine, so I guess I need to get eldest child there soon.
Kathy needed change, and couldn't leave the store, so we told her on our way back to the hotel, we would stop by with change.
Then we found a hidden little vintage shop I've actually thought about going into before, and never did. Today we did. It was vintage HEAVEN. This little tiny store has PILES of handbags in amazing condition from the 40-70s. She has them priced appropriately too, so I couldn't afford one, but it was worth it just to look. Hats and all sorts of pretties, plus vintage sparklies I really couldn't afford. But also drooled over.
On to a sweet snack at Kobuk Coffee Co, and I also picked up some peppermint sticks there. Because you know, real, made with sugar peppermint sticks are hard to find and so good, I also got E a piece of rose flavored Turkish Delight.
Then back to C&M to give Kathy her change, and back to the hotel.
We kicked back for a bit, the hotel has changed it's shampoo, so I took a shower and tried the Bliss shampoo they are using now. I like it SOO much better then the Pantene!!
On our way home, we stopped by a pawn shop, and they have a left handed compound bow marked down to 41 dollars, the draw is a bit hard for me right now, but I'm lifting weights, so that shouldn't be the case for long. I'm in lust. I want this bow. It probably never would have been marked down,except it is lefthanded. :) Works for me, my whole family is lefthanded!
We are going to check back later on it.
Comic book store obviously. *points up to versus*. Last weeks winner in the store was Gary Gygax, who got 2.5 votes out of 7 here, Steve Jackson got 2.5 votes too, and "I got laid in high school" got 1 vote, and "I play my own game" got 1 vote. So it's a tie!
