What a weekend!
Two wonderful things happened this weekend. First, I was elected President of Alpha Psi Omega, which I extremely proud of and excited about! I'm really looking forward to doing a good job in that position. Thanks to any of you who voted for me! :)
Second, my Volleyball team ROCKED at the Regional tournament! We went from 11th place out of 11 teams entering the tournament, to finishing 3nd place out of 11 teams. We had a 7-3 record leaving regular pool play, which meant we got put into the Gold bracket for the finals. This meant we had to play the really hard team that eventually won the tournament to stay in the finals, so we didn't win overall. Still, we moved from 11th to 3rd, which was amazing. We beat several teams that we had never beaten during the season, and we really worked well as a team. Personally, I probably had the best day of the year, so I'm really happy.
Tomorrow I will be so sore, it's not even going to be funny. I also feel like my throat is sore, so I'm probably coming down with a cold. :-( I just hope I have enough energy this week to finish my paper.
