Did you know that the mandrake is supposed to shriek when you pull it from the ground? Well, my wallet is going to be doing a lot of shrieking because I owe m0mmy $26 (phone), the landlord $490 (rent), the electric company an undisclosed sum, and the University $100 (parking permit and Latin texts). No pizza for me.
In fact, nothing for me anytime soon, until or unless I get a goddamn job.
Also, nothing quite beats being woken up by the Mormons banging on your door so they can tell you about Jesus. They seem to think that Zeus can't offer me the unconditional love that Jesus can. I mean, I have nothing against Jesus, other than that people are always trying to shove him in my face, which is not really his fault. And one of the elders (my God, he can't have been more than 19 or 20) was kinda cute.

Also, I was panhandled by a grubby little child with neither shoes nor manners. One of the Parking Lot Troop, no doubt. I think I've seen her grammarless, ill-mannered little mug around. Someone needs to talk to her parents. Preferably not me.
