Hi, I'm Lee, and I have Japan Issues.
I have located and checked out Male Colors by Gary Leupp, which deals with homosexuality in Tokugawa Japan. This, in and of itself, makes the day a watershed for productivity. Now if only I can find The Love of the Samurai by Watanabe Tsuneo, which alas has been snapped up by some jerk on the faculty. (Jerk on the faculty: if you're reading this, I want that fucking book NOW, please. Okay, thanks.) Too bad; it has a far sexier title.
In other stupid news, I made cooky dough today and cleaned the kitchen. I have also communicated with my two very favorite girls in the whole wide world. I must communicate with Wareh as he wrote on Thurs. and I did not get back to him.
