Can't control my fingers, can't control my brain.
So I signed my lease and sent it off today; God alone knows when it will get there, hopefully on Monday or so, as that is 25 August and the electric company needs 3 days' notice before they turn on the electricity. I hope they accept my application. I mean, technically, it wasn't a lie--when I signed it, I was employed. That all changes at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow.
The boss said I was welcome to come back and work; I'd already told him that there was a possibility that I might not. He is not going to be in tomorrow, so he gave me the send-off speech. Saying good-bye to the co-workers never gets easier, no matter how often it happens. I was Lee who worked full-time at CTC. Then I was Lee who used to work at CTC full-time but went back to school and now comes only during break. And now I'm turning, slowly and inexorably, into Lee who used to work at CTC. I don't want to leave the gang, but I'm getting to a point where it will be a good time for me to move on.
Got my hair cut today. Thank God. m0mmy and Connie and I went to dinner afterwards, at the Olive Garden--I was leery as the last time I'd eaten at an Olive Garden was in San Antonio, and it was just really not good, but this was a nice Olive Garden. Tiramisu is my friend.

I don't know what my phone number will be; m0mmy and I are looking into getting a cell for me and possibly a new cell for her. jurhael, I'll pass it on when I know; not that you ever use it, but I'm okay with you having it.
