I'm totally late to the party, but if you haven't read
Nerds of the Earth, take note! by

emeraldwoman [Iron Man/Leverage, gen], I highly recommend it. HARDISON + S.H.I.E.L.D. + TONY STARK = ::INCOHERENT FROM GLEEEEEEE:: From start to finish, my expression was ♥_♥
Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard reheasing on the set of True Blood today. :-D
Academy invites this year. Congrats Jeremy Renner, Zoe Saldana, Miguel Ferrer, Christoph Waltz, Carey Mulligan and other people! ;-)
And a bit of Wimbledon: Poor John Isner. After that marathon match against Mahut, he had nothing left in the tank for his second round match and pulled out of the doubles tournament completely, and so his Wimbledon dreams are over.
When asked, "What now?" "Anything but tennis," he joked. "I'll watch sports, I'll take in the World Cup. I'll go fishing. I'll do whatever. Just anything away from the tennis court." And poor Nicolas Mahut. His first round doubles match has been suspended for a second time as well! And that match started only a few hours after the marathon match,
to which Isner said, "I thought that was just evil, really," said Isner. "I don't know how he made it out there. He was still hopping about looking pretty fresh … that guy's the Energizer Bunny." Hopefully the extra day's rest will help Mahut in doubles.
It's okay, Isner. You'll always have this:
Isner-Mahut end-of-match picspam!
Okay, that one isn't from the end of the match, but I think it's funny. Isner is a long drink of water.
OMG IT'S OVER!
OMG I WON!
Pull it into hug harbor!
Mad props to the warrior.
And we finally pull a smile out of Mahut. ♥
Venus & Serena had to turn up the gas a little in the second set of a tricky doubles match today, but won the tiebreak, so that's good.
Venus looks a bit like a flapper this year with all the fringe. I love the bottom of
Serena's dress, but not as keen on the band under the bust. Andy Roddick's looking good so far, too. He didn't play in the clay season, so I didn't know what to expect from him here. The next two matches I'm very interested in will be Clijsters-Henin and Hewitt-Djokovic. I'm rooting for Miss Kimmie, but I wish it was possible for Hewitt and Djokovic to take each other out.
And a little bit of tennis humor: Andy Roddick linked to
these paparazzi pictures and tweeted,
'its so tough being @serenajwilliams mystery man these days .no privacy.i wonder if she celebrates everyones hugs :).'
Serena found it very amusing. Lots of cute newspaper hats at Wimbledon this year [
1,
2,
3], too!
