Tonight I uploaded two formated e-books into Amazon for another publisher.  I ended up doing the Kindle conversion myself and tweaking the layout when it was apparent that the format wasn't pretty on the Kindle.  I'm kind of picky in that regard.  It then goes through the entire Amazon approval process and eventually goes live ( Read more... )

I have seen the way of the future.

Well, Amazon has come out with a new book reader called the Kindle.  Basically, it's an ebook reader that isn't tied to the internet or a computer.  Being an author, I'd probably consider writing a review of the product IF it were cheaper.  At nearly $400 a pop, I don't see myself buying it anytime soon ( Read more... )
