Thanksgiving was great! Now we're getting ready to do the 'Over the river and through the woods" thing -- i.e. go to Grandma's. Should be another good meal. things I have to be thankful for: a good family. Having one or two really good friends. Good grades. Enough money (ok, does any teen girl really ever have enough money???). Boys that like me (even if they are not the ones I want . . . ). I'm happy most of the time. It's almost Christmas.
But enough of gratefulness. Let's move on to . . . love. Here is an important question: If you accept that you are not going to wait to be married to have sex with someone, what age is an ok age to do it? this is just a hypothetical question, folks. I mean, I know it depends on you, the guy, the relationship -- like, wait for someone you are involved with, that loves you and that you love -- but after all that, what age? Obviously, 14 is too young. What about 16? People used to get married at this age, not all that long ago. 16 seems ok to me, but some people seem so shocked.
Well, the question would be much more relevant if the guy I liked was trying to go out with me instead of trying to get back with his old girlfriend. My friend swears that getting back together never works for long, and that my chances with this guy aren't over yet. Still, once you slide into friendship mode with a guy, can it turn into something else, or will he always just see you as a friend?
Gotta go to Grandmas!
