A good day! I went to the CRHS / OHS football game on Friday night -- FUN! Saw lots of friends, saw The Boy, who blew me a kiss. Now, that was very exciting, I have to admit BUT I am moving on from him anyway. Too many fish in the sea to wait for one who doesn't seem to be swimming my way. There's this new guy, let's call him John (names have been changed to protect the innocent). After the game, I went with a bunch of people over to a guy friend's house. We were all playing around, being silly, and he kissed me. Just like that. We laughed, but then the rest of the time we were, like, aware of each other, you know? Since then we've IM'd, and we're gonna maybe hang out Friday with some other people, since school is out.
But here is the question of the day: Is it really true that you won't find a serious love relationship until you stop looking for it? Does the act of desiring it make it stay out of reach? I do not understand this rule of the universe, if it is one. Until true love finds me I am going to have to make due with spontaneous kisses from guys I meet at football games. Maybe this guy will turn out to be something . . .
