Other things I neglected to mention: the fact that mum was trying to hem up my prom dress. I suggested (multiple times since we got the dress) doing it professionally. Instead, dad had to save her and my dress. She was going to use fabric tape that required the heat of an iron to stay in place. And dad noticed that my dress is polyester. ( Read more... )
