How come nobody TOLD me that the special edition TF movie could come in badass tins? I saw a Decepticon tin with it and I knew I had to buy that sucka right up immediately. (Hee, it even says DESTROY on it. :D This leads me to assume there's an Autobot tin, but I didn't see one.) This = very yes.

And while I have seen this movie many times (...at a friend's house, yes, it has taken me 'til JUST TONIGHT to finally buy it), I do believe this is the first time I've ever really been able to watch it and just watch the characters, the way they move and act in the background. And I gotta say...Ratchet and Ironhide are an old married couple, you cannot even argue because it's so true. As in UNDENIABLE TRUTH, old married couple for life. (Hey Ari--I am deeply amused at how Ratch apparently seemed to cause the most damage in his landing.)

And the next time you watch it (if you don't do this already), you should yell "IT'S STARSCREAM!" in Hide's voice every single time Screamy comes onscreen. Because that's so much fun.

I love how people like Jazz and Bee don't listen to Hide and Ratch when they tell them to do things like BACK UP and TAKE COVER and HELLO I THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING until they get their chrome whipped by Screamy, wtftimusprime.

Thar be TFA RP to be played with our OCs from the TFA comm character creation contest. And while right away I wanted to go 'SIGN ME AND BREAKER UP', I am dubious as to the literacy of the potential players and as to the experience of the mod and the general setup. In other words, 'eh' until I see some telltale signs of life and improvement.

...Yes, I went to the mall. And bought that, along with Children of Men. If you have not seen Children of Men, you will stop reading this RIGHT NOW and do so. Yes. Now. Right now.

Um, and if you keep reading, then here's the rest.

I was SO CLOSE to buying...a bajillion other things. I only had $70. D: And Hot Topic was having a 'buy one shirt get the 2nd half-off'...they had a Star Trek shirt...;; And Dark Knight shirts! And the Cloverfield shirt, and the new Darkwing Duck shirt, and of course the couple of TF shirts (I didn't see Ravage, but they DID have the OP4Prez shirt), and and and they had the Decepticon poster (I HAVE NO ROOM FOR POSTERS, BUT WANT), and cool boots, and those awesome pants I've always wanted andandand I had to leave. ;; I watched people be n00bs at Brawl at the game shops.

Oh. Guess the fuck what I had to decide between. I ended up narrowing stuff down to 3 options. Suncoast FINALLY marked down the Enterprise DVD box sets. I think they finally got tired of having those around. $60 per season. They still have the ENTIRE SERIES of Heat Guy J box set. For...$60. Or I could get special editions of TF and Serenity at FYE (who did not have a tin, and while I have the original Serenity DVD, c'mon, special edition DDDD: ). I was gonna go home with nothing, but then I saw the tin.

And then I saw Cannibal Holocaust beside it. Oh my god, Cannibal Holocaust. I was THIS CLOSE to buying that. Except...well, I didn't wanna pay over $20 for something that I might not even like. (Where the hell I would manage to RENT something like that is beyond me; I am 99.9% certain there's no way in hell I can find it at my suck-ass Blockbusters. But I still think I'd rather see it first or get it for uber-cheap.) So I...put that back, because for cheaper was something I KNEW I liked--Children of Men.

So I'm set back about $45. :| So next time I'm at the mall, I'm begging someone to help me pay for...some of this awesome shit. Like Ent seasons. And Heat Guy J. Y'know. Important stuff. <<; >>;

I could only find the TF movie novelization at Borders, not Ghosts of Yesterday, which is the one I want to read. Oh, and no place had any Yami no Matsuei manga. :| At all. What...the fuck. Of course, there WAS some manga I was tempted to get, but those were all ones that said 18+. I can get by with getting ones that just plain say M, because it has no age, but I'm not gonna risk getting carded or anything.

I looked at prom dresses at JCPenny's and Sears. I did find ONE really amazingly pretty awesome dress ;o; but it was up on display and I don't think either of them were my size anyway. Um, I kind of don't know how to figure out sizes on these things. I did try two blue ones on, and oh my god my ribcage was being crushed. Oh, and MOST of the dresses, from where they hung to the floor, were taller than me. :| I saw a few short dresses...but guess what I don't want to wear? I want to wear something floor-length and uber-pretteh. ;o; Hell, if I can, I want something...ballgown-y. I guess we'll see...I really ought to start shopping soon if it's in May. The sooner the better, y'know?

And I started writing some TFA fic. Continues from a story I posted back in January that I'd really wanted to do something more with, expand upon, make it a couple stories in length or chapters or whatever. Maybe rewrite the first part so it can be longer than 600 words now that it wouldn't be for a challenge. Because I realized something about it that might account for an old war hero being on a dumpy ship doing a thankless job. (I believe we'll find out OP's story once Sentinel Prime gets here, as it's prolly all his fault anyway, and prolly something to do with Elita-1/Blackarachnia.)

Oh, guess what I found at FYE, too. :| Beast Machines whole series DVD box set. And seasons 1 and 2 (which is prolly the whole series right there) of Beast Wars. Random DVDs of Armada and Energon. And every place that sold DVDs, including Hot Topic, I found the special re-release of the 80's movie. I am not. getting. the damn. 80's movie. I saw it, I laughed, I mocked, I didn't know any better. Now I've been watching G1 (who I did not see any DVDs for, sadness), so the majority of the main cast getting shamelessly and remorselessly slaughtered in the first 15-20 minutes would probably be likely to upset me. And make me angry. And stuff. I don't even know if I'd like Hot Rod anymore. I liked Roddy when I first saw it...and Kup...Wheelie can go die, tho.

(Hm, I should change my icons. To be mostly TF-ified. At this rate. ...Or maybe just cars. Hot, hot cars. I saw a commercial full of hot cars the other day--it was for Porsche. WELL NO WONDER...*drools*)

I also have my old CD/cassette/radio player dusted off. I'm gonna bring this baby into school Tuesday morning or something into the senior lounge, cuz it's on the list of things we still want/need in there, and I'm...ASSUMING this thing still works. Haven't used it in ages.

Touring the mall alone is no fun, and while I really considered getting a bit at Yummy Japan, because GOD IT IS YUMMY, I wasn't...hungry. D: Sadness.

And I guess tomorrow's Easter then? (Hell if I know, I NEVER know these things, I just know Easter is one of the days in this long break of mine.) May your chocolate bunnies be solid and your peeps fresh.

goddamn batman, it's starscream!, giant fighting robots, writing, random, movies, prom, giant fighting gay robots, shopping
