Champion_Tales: Good visit to the Magic Box
Well I was finally able to drop by the Magic Box yesterday. And even though I found out that Cristoff is no longer working at their. The very lovely owner informed me that Cristoff is now in business for himself, selling protective charms. So I'll hopefully be able to look him up soon. Shouldn't be too hard, since is staying in the same apartment building as some of my friends, including Izzy.
Anyway was good to finally check out the magic box. It's proprietor Miss Anya Jenkins is very direct and forthright. And even though she wasn't necessarily in the best of moods due to some annoying demon plant with bells on, hopping around making noise and bugging everyone. Was able to ignore the annoyance and look around. I was very impressed with the collection of rare and out-of-print books they had on hand. Also it has a great deal of magical artifacts. So is certainly a one stop shop for ones magical supplies in Sunnydale. Well even though I hadn't planned on buying anything, ended up buying a crystal ball and some scented candles.
While I was talking to Anya, she said that due to the recent departure of Cristoff, that she's in need of some extra help around the store. Most likely a teenager working part time. I mentioned having two teens JT and Sera. Though wasn't sure if either was interested in working anywhere this summer. Am pretty sure JT wouldn't, but could mention it to Sera, see if she's interested. Actually having a job, is a great way to teach responsibility and the value of money. Plus is a good distraction to keep a teen out of trouble as well. School will be over soon for the summer, so will just have to wait and see.
Anyway, I'm just staying home tonight. Not feeling like doing anything other than just watching tv and relaxing. And maybe have a drink or two as well.
