Champion_Tales: June Begins
Well as usual I'm glad that another month has ended in Sunnydale. Maybe June will be a better month for everyone. I certainly hope so. Although May wasn't all bad. The last weekend went rather well. The Prom seemed to go quite well. Though some of the teens got a little bit over excited. Most of the kids was well behaved. And it looked like JT & Dawn, and Sera and Carlos was having a wonderful time dancing. I tried to stay out of their way. Know that they didn't want their guardian looking over their shoulders every few minutes. And I do trust JT and Sera to not do anything stupid. Their allot more mature than I was as a youth.
Also the teens wasn't the only ones that got to have a good time. Most of the adult chaperons was having an enjoyable evening as well. And I was very pleased to see my newest tenant Brigit at the Prom. Said she had a daughter at the Prom. Then was extremely honest about how she was a demon, with a several hundred year old demon daughter. Was a bit surprised at first. But have been around a long time, so nothing much shocks me for long. Plus she is an extremely beautiful lady. So the fact that she's a demon doesn't really bother me. I actually felt like I could open up to her, like she truly understood what I was going threw. Being immortal isn't easy. Especially when you know your eventually lose everyone you care for or love to the ravages of age, sickness, and death.
But it was good to spend some time with her. After she finished talking to her family and friends, and that cranky annoying principal. I took her back to the Inn, and we drank some liquor and talked a while. Really enjoyed her company. A very sensitive and kind woman.
Uh, anyway I decided to show some trust in JT and Sera, so let them go with their dates to an after Prom party at a Hotel. Was supposed to be supervised I think. At least I think they said it was. Course was a bit distracted by Brigit at the time, so not totally sure. But when they both got home, said that they had a great time. And also said that nothing happened other than dancing. So I'm happy that they both had a great Prom, and that was finally a get together where nothing bad happened. May actually be a first for Sunnydale. It may also bold well for the coming month. Hopefully the luck will continue. I just hope that everything goes well for my family and friends over the weeks to come.
*Drinks another glass of brandy. Goes over to the window in his Study. See's that it is the time of month again for yet another full moon. Sighs for all those not as lucky as him*
