Best of the season everyone.
Here I am again, I'd like to think it is the new year and inspired beginnings that makes me want to try writing again. Then again it could also be the fact that I'm running out of ways to procrastinate.
I got halfway through what was meant to be a big long synopsis of my trip to North America in October, but to no avail. Since I wasn't getting through that I was having trouble writing much else, I just sort of, stopped. While my trip and my experiences then were wonderful, and have kept me going these last couple of months, chronocleing them isn't happening just now. Hopefully they will at some point, but not now apparently. After all, I have been busy, I tell myself...
Case in point: Happy New Year everyone, I am writing you from my office in the afternoon of the 1st of January, 2008. No one else is here, nor should they be, as New Years has the same weight here as Christmas does for many of us. Still that doesn't apply to me while the work that I want to do is still sitting there, so I thought I'd turn over a new leaf and then place the old leaf back on top of it.
So here I am, and off I go.
If anyone needs me I'll be in the lab.
