I do feel the climate change issue should remain in the public eye and this pushes it forward still further... but the peace prize? Feels like a bit of a stretch.
Regardless, it will do one thing for the Nobel prize system, increase their own public awareness, and frankly I think that is important too.
What do you think? Would economics have been a better fit or does this fall outside the usual areas of the prizes? Do Gore and the IPCC deserve it at all?
