Today I taught myself how to increase and decrease in knitting, so I can move on from scarves to something a bit more complex, like, say, a blanket or afghan. It wasn't as hard as I thought! I got the "Stitch n' Bitch" book from the library and the directions are pretty clear, even assume you'll make the same mistakes most beginners will, and warn you against them. Very helpful!
