Things I'd like: John/Rodney is my all-time favorite pairing, so I'd prefer a story where they are the main focus. But I'm also a sucker for stories where the Team comes together to support one another, and fight for what's right, and I would love for that to be included, even if the John/Rodney relationship was in the background. I don't mind some angst or drama in the story, as long as there is a happy ending. I also really like stories where the Team, as well as Zelenka, Lorne, etc, fight to stay in Atlantis/protect Atlantis from enemies on Earth. Some of my favorite tropes include: pining, (especially if both people involved are not aware that the other feels the same. I like both comedic and angsty versions of this, as long as eventually there's a happy ending), finding your family/home, soulmates/soulbonding, first times (and that can include anything - kiss, etc), pretend dating that turns into the real thing, and a more specific SGA trope - John being connected to Atlantis, (telepathically, etc), or reincarnated as an Ancient/actually an Ancient. I also LOVE AUs - whether it's Canon "What If?" scenarios, Alternate Canon or complete AUs. Any rating is fine with me as well - whatever works for the overall story.
Things I wouldn't like: I'm not the biggest fan of Rodney/Jennifer, but I don't mind if that pairing is included, as long as it eventually leads to John/Rodney in the end, (and there's no cheating involved). I don't like character bashing, so if one of the characters has to be the "bad guy", (even if it's Jennifer), I'd rather it make sense for who that character is and where the plot of the story is going. I'm also not the biggest fan of dub-con/non-con, anything to do with scat or watersports, heavy BDSM, humiliation, permanent character death, anything apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic, or a story with a depressing/angsty ending.
What I can do: I can write John/Rodney, Team friendship fics, or Gen.
What I can't do: Pretty much what I included in my "Things I wouldn't like" list. I also don't think I could write a story with super explicit sex, but I'm really good at writing the PG-13/borderline R kind of stories.
Pinch hitter?: I'm sorry, but I probably wouldn't be able to be a pinch hitter.
