Things I'd like: There are three things that I'm most interested in from Santa this year:
- A McKay/Sheppard/Carter story. It can be a one-night stand or a big romance, it doesn't really matter. I'd prefer that it ended relatively angst-free if possible. (If they happily agree to move on, that's fine, but I'd rather there be no deaths or broken hearts. And I'd rather you didn't bring up Carter/O'Neill, if at all possible.)
- A John/Teyla story. I'd prefer a romance between them, but whether it's first-time, established relationship, background of an action-adventure story, I don't really care. Preferably a happy ending.
- A story focused on Teyla Emmagan. (Gen or any of the following pairings: John/Teyla, John/Rodney/Teyla, John/Rodney/Teyla/Ronon, Teyla/Ronon, Teyla/Lorne, Teyla/Kate Heightmeyer, or Teyla/Elizabeth. Teyla/Kanaan is also fine, but I'd prefer the relationship to be in the background.)
I like stories that are like the show itself, including close-canon AUs or alternate realities (like 'what if the Ancients never left earth' or 'what if they dialed a different planet in Rising'). I love the team and how much they care about each other. I loooove plotty romance, but small, everyday moments are great, too. I have a huge thing for characters giving each other small gifts or just plain sharing stuff with each other, particularly sharing clothing. (John giving Rodney his jacket to wear in The Shrine is a huge eeeeee moment for me.)
Things I wouldn't like: Please no Parrish, Jennifer Keller, Michael, Larrin, or any characters from SG-1 other than Sam Carter. No death or rape fic, please. I tend not to 'get' crack. Please no lifestyle BDSM or BDSM universes, A/B/O/Omegaverse, genderswap, or mpreg. My biggest squick is purposeful humiliation/sexual humiliation.
What I can do: I'm just going to list out the combos I'd like to write this year. John/Rodney, John/Rodney/Teyla, John/Teyla, John/Ronon, John/Lorne, John/Rodney/Lorne, Teyla/Ronon, Ronon/Elizabeth, Elizabeth/Radek, John/Rodney/Teyla/Ronon. (Also John/Todd and Teyla/Todd, but my take will probably be less romantic, more enemies/forced friends/uneasy attraction.) If it's not on my "NO" list, I can probably help you out.
What I can't do: NO Parrish, Michael, Jennifer Keller, Larrin, McKay/Keller, or Sheppard/Weir. I'd rather not write Beckett, Ford, Caldwell, Cadman, or Woolsey beyond a mention. I'd prefer not to write crack or A/B/O/Omegaverse.
