Redial the Gate: Revisions

Using this icon was obligatory, as it's taken from the episode. :)

a_loquita's recap of Revisions goes up at redial_the_gate later today, and it's a great one! (ETA: Here.) In the meantime, here's a thought or five of my own:

PDL cameos never fail to amuse.

It's slightly horrifying to consider that when SG-1 walked into that dome, they essentially doomed at least four people to death to compensate.

Jack and Teal'c swapping suppers is absolutely adorable.

This ep has all the markings of a fantastic team episode, yet it fails to resonate. Most people have the same problem with Spirits (not me - I loved that episode). What makes an episode click for you, and what doesn't?

I wish the writers hadn't specifically shown two women walking out to their deaths.

The scene in my icon is my favorite, because it sums up SG-1 so perfectly: Sam wants to try to find a technological solution, Daniel wants to find historical proof in the old books, Teal'c brings up the security angle, and Jack is the CO who weighs all their opinions and advice and makes the final decision. Ah, team. :)
