Here I am sitting on the VIA train, trying to use the Internet. This is failing.

Not because there isn't any wireless access here. Oh no, there's plenty of it, my card reports 90% signal strength. It's just that the signup form for the paid service won't actually let me give them any money.

I signed up with last.fm a while ago, which is pretty interesting. It's a website that stems from a piece of software called Audioscrobbler that would record your music listening habits and do some fancy statistical analysis on them. No more hoping that the wireless access point that kicks around here is actually connected.

Now, if only I can get the power situation sorted out, I can turn those other computers on.

I've shelved boxes and boxes upon books, until I have finally discovered the floor again. It's nice, hardwood in fact.
