So I'm home from a rough week.
Last week, we found out my dad was having an extra heartbeat. They did the requisite tests and found 3 arteries 80% blocked. Luckily, my dad is very very good about getting his checkups. The one in Sept showed none of these issues.
So yesterday morning, my dad had a triple bypass heart surgery.
He came through everything with flying colors and his vitals are now perfect. Today, he got moved out of ICU and into a private room, which is beautiful! And the food is really good! Tomorrow, they start him on the daunting task of therapy and exercise for his arms and chest muscles.
A full recovery will be at least 3-4 months, but he was up and around today and that's a great sign.

Abby, our new pup, is a HOSS! She's getting so huge already. At a little over 4 months old, she's 40lbs. She got spayed on Jan 14th and didn't even act like anything remotely happened to her. She is a Tigger.
