I completely forgot I had this in the stash, although with only 3.7m of 112cm I'm not sure there's enough for a full length polonaise. definitely not that + skirt (a disadvantage of being stout if short). Maybe a caraco.

The fabric that I ordered earlyish in December and that posted from the USA on 14/15 December hasn't arrived, despite International Priority being a 6-10 day delivery time (days dredged from memory so may not be accurate).  The fabric shop offered to recut & send, abd I think it was covered by insurance cos of the postal method.   So the fabric is ( Read more... )

At the last clean up 3 months ago, I'd taken a set of drawers thinking that it would be useful in the grotto as it fit under my cutting table, but actually it's not that useful.  So I'm hauling it to the kerb.  I'm also putting out one of the armchairs, maybe both. Depends on my energy levels at the time.

the plastic sewing machine cover that i got & hoped would fit over my overlocker, didn't fit.  I sew in my kitchen so I've always been a little concerned about spilling something on it that I should. But there's nowhere else to keep it.

The foot pedal doesn't get covered and it's not deep enough

I've got the top of my dressing table as the last archaelogical dig that may produce the rest of the blouse pattern, or it's somewhere so totally obscure that I won't come across it until I move homes. I'll tackle that tomorrow. The dressing table that is.
