I have ordered the fabric for Dolores
I decided that as FFC usually take an additional 2 weeks to cut & send internationally (dunno what their domestic turn around is) and that it'll take a week to get her, that I had better order the fabric for Dolores. the linen/cotton was sold out, so I'm getting the cotton rayon pink/ivory/tan

It's an OK fabric, but not perfect. I keep telling myself that it's better than what I've found locally. To make the postage worthwhile (and they gouge badly on international post) I also ordered a skirt length of light weight wool in teal, a skirt length in dark mauve italian rayon/linen, and a skirt length in burgundy wool/rayon. They're fairly standard wardrobe colours for me, so they will work with shirt fabric I already have. What was an extravagance is some silk linen stripe shirting. mhhhhh in colours that really suit me so I just said oh yeah baby.
I was just about to hit the order button, when I realised that I had a 15% discount code, so yayyy me. The post will probably cost as much as teh fabric, but it's still a reasonable price ... so long as I use the pretties
