I've been lucky enough for this to happen several times. I've also been lucky enough that often it's a friend like Snick who does the fulfilling, because my 'perfect fic' requests are specific, yet hard to describe. I like domination but not too *much* domination, and I like banter but it has to be the right *kind* of banter, and on and on. Snick's been dealing with my writing for so long that she knows just the right balance!
