Geez, I'm never online. I've been enjoying myself for the past week. Spent some LOTS of time with family; reading; scrapping. Keeping the apartment clean. Just keeping myself sane and steady. :)
And then trying to co-ordinate allll the things I need to do for the living room. I need to remove everything from walls, then polyfill/plaster and sand, then paint. But after the paint is dry I want to get the curtains up -- curtains that I still have to BUY, along with the paint -- on the new rods and drill holes so that the pictures are hung properly this time, which means that my nephew Robbie and his father need to come down to do that. And then I need to buy a new sofa and area rug and new floor lamps, but I don't want to bring those things in until the paint/curtains are done.
ARGH. It's difficult because I don't want to be without curtains for a whole week. I want to plaster/sand/paint over, say, two days, and then have Robbie & Dan come down the next day and do the drilling and hanging-things-straight. This weekend I've got plans (going to see Colin & Justin from "Colin & Justin's Home Heist" at a home show) but maybe if I buy all my supplies next week, I can plaster next Thursday night, sand on Friday morning, and paint on Friday & Saturday, then have Robbie et al down on Sunday. Hmmm. I wonder if that would work. I'll have to call my sister.
What the heck is The Watchmen about? I don't want to go to a website because I don't want to spoil myself on the off chance I do see it. Are they superheroes? I haven't seen a single ad for it, but I heard it took in 56 million (!!!!) at the box office over the weekend. Um.

Completed:
#9 - Make scrapbook for trip: Stockbridge 2008
Whoo! I've kept this a lot simpler and I'm much happier with (mostly) just photos, borders, and clean lines. I'm currently working on the last of the "Travel 2008" scrapbook, then I'm going to start on the one for Pride 2008. I need to get out to a scrapbooking store first, though... I am in desperate need of plain pale paper to use as bases/backgrounds.
In Progress
#21 - Read 130 Books
62. Everything's Eventual by Stephen King (re-read)
63. Nightmares and Dreamscapes by Stephen King (re-read)
#39 - Watch 50 movies
28. Dodgeball with Ben Stiller -- FUNNY. So many great lines. Also, I love Steve the Pirate. "He's more of a pirate than you'll ever be." Hee!
29. Escape From New York with Kurt Russell -- One of my favourite movies of all time. I made Krystle watch it (as repayment for last weeks "Dogma") and she enjoyed it too.
30. Lost Boys 2: The Tribe with Angus Sutherland -- Angus is no Kiefer, lemme tell ya. Absolutely dreadful movie.
