Remix Meme

Dec 17, 2010 06:14

Holiday season means meme season, so here's one: imagine what your favourite show/book/comic/film would be like if it was written/directed/drawn in the style of your favourite authors? (okay my formulation might be a bit obscure, but read what's below the cut, you'll understand quickly enough)

Sherlock remixed by:

Overindulging in fangirl fantasies under the cut )

squee, meme, god i'm such a stan, sherlock holmes, comics, sherlockxjohn

Go bring home the bacon to your lovely wife, then, dear! ^3^

By the way, you're the Balzac expert; how do you think Balzac would remix Sherlock? =D

Oh yeah, he totally is scary. It's good he's a comics writer and not a serial killer, though -- he would have been less of an inspiration for me. XD And yeah, do check out his other stuff, pretty much everything he writes is awesome.

OMG I LOVE your Joss remix to death, a lot more than mine, it's just perfect!! And yeah, he's a huge feminist (Moore is too) but I think he loves lesbians the way I love gay guys. Maybe even worse, I always feel his lesbians are a little too perfect and almost unreal, like, they never fight or have problems the way real couples do. Which is fine, but it's a little surprising to find a real male femmeslasher; most of the guys see lesbians as objects of desire, but with Joss it's more like he *supports* them, like a yaoi fangirl would her favourite pairing. Or something ( ... )

I hope that the appearance of a Random Internet Stranger upon your digital doorstep, metaphorical arms flung wide to declare everlasting melodrama love, does not put you off your chronologically appropriate meal.
