As I understand it, it is a common practice in Japanese culture to
clean your house from top to bottom for New Years. Doing so more or less
clears your slate for the upcoming year. It allows you to have good
things come to you in the new year- because all of the crap has been
cleared away.

I have moved around my schedule for morning rite. Setekh now has a place every day, and I fit in the other gods when I get the chance (normally on the weekends). I moved Aset and Asar together, and that seems to be working out well. Asar has been catching my attn lately- perhaps he's wanting more attn. I'm not sure. It's been almost a week now of nagging. A week of I want attn more than twice a week. Ugh. I'm getting stuck. After two months of this method, it doesn't seem to be working for me. A few weeks ago, I got it up my butt that I wanted to perform ritual every day for the gods. Thereby rotating one god each day throughout the week.
