As a Friend of the Globe Theatre, I get to hear in advance about upcoming productions - and it might interest some of my list that the multi-talented Arthur Darvill will be a part of next year's season. Not on stage - he was Mephistophiles in "Faust" recently - but his music will be featured in a play called "The Lightning Child" based on Euripides ( Read more... )

I rather like the idea of Pond Life. I hope people outside the UK will be able to get it. Nice way to bring people up to speed with the Ponds' character arc, and I thoroughly approve of anything that reminds us that the characters have a life between episodes.

I have officially got an MA - Pass with Merit. Should be graduating in mid-December. It's been a wonderful experience and I'm rather sad it's over, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Two activities have dominated the last couple of weeks - finishing my dissertation and making an awful lot of damson jam!
