It's here. I've written it, and I'm posting it. It's got Mamoru and Usagi, and a hint of Motoki. The other girls don't really make much of an appearance in this one, and nothing really happens. Only the last scene is necessary, but I like the rest of enough to keep it in the story.

The four girls sat cramped in the backseat of the cab; Minako and Rei seperated by Makoto and Ami to help prevent any more physical violence. Rei's hate of shared personal business kept her from saying anything in the hearing of the cab driver, and Minako's knowledge of Rei kept her mouth shut for the time being. Rei and Minako both knew, however, that there was more to be said after they left the clinic. They only hoped that they could get home before Usagi got there. If she beat them home, they would never be able to vent their frustrations toward each other and keep Usagi happy. Little did they know, she knew about the discrepencies that went on between the girls. She just pretended to be happy because she had everything she could ever wish for and more.
Usagi understood that a house full of girls wouldn't be the happiest place to be all the time. She knew that there was underlying tension between the two most headstrong of her friends. She knew that they would never fight in front of her, or when they thought she would come home and see it. They all wanted to keep her happy and she loved them all for it. That was why she left the house for a while. They had to learn how to get along for themselves rather than forcing it upon themselves to keep her happy. It wasn't working anyway. The tension was becoming palpable in the house, and it needed to be released.
Usagi also understood that she would rather be with her falsely happy friends than where she was at the moment. Trying to get a job in the heat was, as Minako would say, worse than running away from the fire in hell and getting no where. Usagi chuckled to herself. Hopefully Rei wouldn't hurt Mina's feelings too badly. Mako and Ami could help keep the peace too, right? She certainly did hope so. Minako didn't look like it, but she could do a lot worse to Rei than Mako did if given the chance. She was the toughest girl in the house, despite Makoto's strength and Rei's temper; it would take the two of them to match her ability, and even the they would have a hell of a fight. Only Usagi knew what Minako had done and where she had been before she met the others.
She was getting distracted. She needed food to help her focus. She dragged her friend down the street and into a ice cream shop they all frequented. Usagi really was glad that Minako had Rei distracted for the time being. There was no telling what Rei would do if she saw her Usa out with a male. Especially a male that Rei had known intimately. For a moment, Usagi felt a pang of guilt, but it soon passed when her stomach rumbled and sweat poured into her eye. She wasted no time running to the couter and calling for the owner.
Usagi and the owner had known each other since they were both children. He was the only person she had known longer than Rei. He was as much of a brother to her as Rei was a sister, but less protective. As such, he never needed to ask what Usagi wanted, but he always asked anyway and mouthed along with her as she replied. "I want what ever is newest, on top of what ever I had last time, with every topping you have."
"In other words, you want everything we have in stock. Ok, coming right up."
"I don't know what I would do without you Motoki. There's no way I could afford my appetite, and on such a hot day. I think I'd die! Yes! That's it! Without you, Motoki, my big brother in everything but blood, I, Usagi Tsukino, would die in the sweltering heat! Oh, Motoki, you saved my life countless times, and I- I- I love you for it." Although Usagi had started out loud and gotten louder, she ended quitely, with a sentemental touch that everyone in the parlor caught. She had a tendency to do that, which was why no one could stay mad at her.
"Usa, you know I don't like it when you get all touchy-feely." At the look she gave he added, "I love you, too, Usagi. Now take your ice cream." He sounded forceful, but his warm smile and kind eyes showed the way he truly felt towards the younger blond.
"Thanks a lot Motoki!" She grabbed her stoic friend's hand and led him out of the parlor the same way she led him in there. Eventually, he tired of being pulled around. He jerked his hand free from hers, throwing her off balance, and landing her in an undignified heap on her face. Most would have apologised, especially after the look she gave him, but he wasn't most people. He was not supposed to be catering to the whims of fourteen year old girls. Especially not when they were the reason he lost the most exotic and sexy woman he ever knew and laid hands on.
He continued to glare down at her until she jumped up and hugged him with all the strength her arms had. "I understand unhappiness, Mamoru. You might not think I do, but I do. I've been unhappy; I've seen people unhappy. My friends are all unhappy, and I don't know how to make it better. I don't know how to make you happy, either. I wish everyone could be happy, especially people like you and my friends. You're all such kind people. You know, I don't mind if you tell me what's wrong. I'm a good listener. I do talk a lot about nothing, but I might be able to help you a little if you'd talk to me.
"What am I saying? No one talks to me about their problems. They shelter me from them. I guess everyone thinks I'm to fragile to handle it, but I'm really not! I have wisdom; I can give advice! Why does everyone think I'll fall to pieces if I know that the world has problems? I don't understand... I don't understand it at all..."
When Mamoru looked closely at Usagi, she was no longer the young girl who was pulling him down the street just moments ago. She was a woman who had been through too much to stay as innocent and happy as she was. This solemnity was her true character, and as much as it mimiced his own, someone as carefree as Usagi should never be that way. He understood for the first time why everyone wanted to protect her from pain, danger and problems. He understood why Rei cared so much for her. He understood that he had just fallen in love for perhaps the very first time.
Usagi was surprised when she heard Mamoru's voice. He hadn't said anymore than two words to her in all the time she had known him. She would never forget what he said. "I understand. I understand that you are the happiness in your friends' lives. Seeing you happy makes the world seem like a better place to be. You give joy to anyone who has the pleasure of being in your company, whether they want to or not, and you make everyone love you for who you are. Your friends want to make sure you can feel true happiness forever because if you're not happy, then the world isn't a good place to be anymore."
Usagi wasn't sure if she was dreaming, hallucinating, over heated, dying, imagining things, daydreaming, or going insain, but she knew for sure that what he said was the sweetest thing she had ever heard in her life. She checked to see if there was anyone behind him, just in case this was a joke. Once she was sure he had been the one to say what he said, she grabbed his face, pulled it to hers, and kissed him as hard as she could.
At that point she was sure she was alive, sane, and that this was truly real.

There it is! This was just filler, since nothing at all interesting happens, which is why I posted it now, rather than waiting until Monday when I usually post. This will just lead up to more drama. Which will be posted on Monday. :) Let me know what you think of it
