As with the first page of Daikogen, my brush work really begins to shine on this final page. I’m clearly more comfortable and being much more bold with my strokes, textures and areas of black.

The way I set up this page, one can easily miss or read over the last two panels of the middle tier, however I don’t entirely mind this. The actions represented in those two panels are supposed to be fast and indicate Amy’s ability to quick-draw and hit a far-away target with

The comic goes back to night scenes, a place Amy becomes very at home with, and I break out the brush again. I’ve gotten some odd comments about the rising text in the last panel, in future print editions I may edit it to a more normal reading orientation.
