Everyone was gone here at the hut, so I was able to go out to the living area and watch the last hour of Indy500 qualifying on Versus, which was pretty nice. The grass at Indy is so green.

Qualifying time trials lasts like 5 hours, and gets crazier towards the end, as drivers continue to bump other drivers out of the 11 available slots. The last ( Read more... )

The interesting process of qualifying for the Indy500 starts tomorrow. The process takes place over two weekends, with the hottest action usually taking place on "Bump Day" which this year will be May 17.

Today I took my dad to vote at the Hall County Voter Registration office. It was waaay more crowded than when I went. It was also freezing freakin cold. The line moved pretty fast though, and if you were 75 and over they would wisk you inside right away to the front of the line.
