I just have to post my presentation for the class, and I'm DONE for the semester! Three weeks off!! I'd dance for joy, but my coordination is notoriously nonfunctioning until around 10am, so I'll give it a miss.

I know the rationale has always been that if we don't allow multiple posts, they will never be filled, but I think if no one is willing to step up and lead then the guild isn't ready to move forward.

when you get elected, you oath that you won't leave early and that you'll do x, y & z during your term.

If you don't do or have to leave early, fine, but you oath that you will not take office in any capacity in ADF for 1 year as punishment ^h^h^h^h^h^h^h^h^h ... uh ... recognition that your life is too busy/messed up and acknowledge that it comes first over ADF.

We have more than enough people now to have full offices with no overlap...

Q: "Why not Excellence?"
A: "Why enable mediocrity?"

How these do-nothings keep getting elected isn't the mystery - usually they are the only ones who are willing to run for office.

Why ADF doesn't have a limit on officerships being held by the same person I don't know.

You've pretty much answered your own rhetorical query there...

As drubear's response to malacat13's comment rightly implies, the issue is being able to remove people who are collecting offices and are either unable or incompetent to handle them ( ... )
