Apparently the funding was renewed for research on an antivirus to Epstein-Barr. There was concern that it might get cut, but apparently it's still going. *lets out held breath*

So, if you know which university I teach at, you may have also heard that a small outbreak of the swine flu has hit that particular campus. There's talk of closing for part of the summer. I have a bumper sticker which proclaims this, and I believe it. And it's news items like this article about a man facing criminal charges for possession of comics which remind me why I have that bumper sticker.
