The last few days have been quite wonderful weather-wise. MyJeff and I have made a point of spending much time outside. As yesterday was his birthday, we chose to mostly relax after a little expedition to find some annuals and herbs for me to plant in my back yard large planter. I've been playing an online "search-and-click" game off and on for the last few weeks. It's rather addicting. Fun to see the scenes that have been designed and some clever hidden-in-plain-sight sneakiness. The premise is a Time Travel Society who cleans up the anachronisms dropped at sites in history. Went to MyJeff's cousin's house. Ate good food. Visited. Played Trivial Pursuit--lost at Baby Boomer's Edition, won the Silver Screen Edition.

 
Other than on the days of Deep South heat and humidity, MyJeff and I (and Cody, of course) started hanging out poolside in our back yard.

We didn't make it into "Water for Elephants" the other night. The weather (yup, weather again, what can I say?) started turning questionable as we drove to the theater, and our Cody boy doesn't handle thunderstorms well. We had a glorious weather weekend. Temperatures ran from low 60's at night to low 80's during the daytime, with sunshine, breezes, and bearable humidity levels. Could hardly have been nicer. Both days.

My neighbor L and I cruised the streets of mid-Bloomington Friday checking out the items cast out by residents for pickup and/or disposal. We left here about 10:30 in the morning and returned around 5:30 or 6:00 in the evening. Her minivan was pretty well packed.
