I had no idea this fic was 87,000 words long when I started reading it, but I couldn't seem to stop. It's about an older rock musician who's reached the twilight of his career, and an up-and-coming young singer-songwriter who becomes an important part of his life. I'd recommend this for anyone on my flist who enjoys May-December romances, or fic about music/musicians, or simply a good story peopled with quirky, real characters.
If you enjoy something, consider leaving a little love for an author or artist! I've seen a lot of fest-related angst this year, so I know all the anons out there will appreciate comments even more than usual. :-)
