I have a new foster addition to the perfect little family of mine.  He is still not named....

Red Tabby - Domestic Long Hair.  Had his front right leg amputated due to severe abuse and neglect.

Today at work was my (suprise) Euthanasia Test.  I had to Euthanize a dog and a cat in front of a large group of people, while they watched my every move.  It was SUPER nerve racking and I ended up passing on my first try!  I am quite proud at myself, actually!  Nobody at work has been certified BEFORE their one year anniversary!  I am about a ( Read more... )

Man, yesterday was a VERY emotionally draining day.  I love my job; I do.  I take EVERYTHING seriouslly about what I do.  I couldn't imagine a more perfect job for me.

The Good:
I found out that I got my job promotion!  Not only is this something I reallllllly wanted, I also get a nice raise to go along with it.  So, I guess this was a double, good.

We are having a "Rat Race" for the upcoming elections.  We have a "race track" for all of the rats to race in...LOL.
