The smell of the take-out reminded him he hadn't eaten since he got to the Avenger tower...when was that? He could go for some pizza or something. He needed to find the others first. Or snag some take-out to go for the trip back to Russia.

"Like something straight out of the Twilight Zone." Don't know how to leave, so it was affecting the whole city? Who or what caused it? Doctor Doom? "Any idea what happened to make the city like this?" He was more than curious how it was keeping his powers suppressed. Or blocked. He hadn't tried to pull a Thor and call down lightning. "...I'm Wiccan."

"While I'm asking the standard need to knows, what is the agenda. Do you know? Or will we be rolling the dice for that answer later." It felt a little comfortable to talk about things as if he were in some giant D and D game. After everything that had happened from the fall of Asguard to the secret invasion and even the civil war....something simple was good. His eyes flicked over the holes and he added. "And tell me it isn't Godzilla."

He liked to think they'd gotten better at the hero thing. "Yeah I didn't think it was Godzilla. Had to make sure they didn't clone him badly or something worse." It wasn't Tommy or Cassie's fault either. Billy couldn't think of a single person that could cause that. Maybe Teddy. "They'd be bigger all around too and longer because of his claws." Geeky but true. He knew his monster movies. Wait. "...steal the Statue of David for its magical properties? Are they serious?"

They weren't memories he liked to revisit. "I'll take a look at them, a bit later. But are you sure there's no way out?" His magic wasn't providing the usual outs it always did. That bothered him. What could restrict his magics? He had to know and if possible, lift it so anyone here could go home. "What else have they said to all of you? Seems a bit on the sinister side."

They were needed in other places. Everyone here, even those he didn't know. "And it's too suspicious they have a 'reason' to bring us here but don't say it. A bit too like some things I've seen before." A reason. More like they were being observed in his mind. He sighed and rubbed his temples. "Say uh, I'm looking for some friends of mine. They might have showed up here."

Much to her surprise, she actually recognized this one. Whoa! It was that New Avengers kid. Wizard... or Witch Boy... no, Wiccan! That was it.
She came up to the two of them, waving to Clare. "This one's from my neck of the woods," she told the girl. She didn't expect Billy to recognize her out of uniform, so she offered her hand. "Hey. Shadowcat. From the X-Men," she pointed her thumb at herself. "I guess Clare's already given you the Welcome to The Weird speech?"

"Anyways, lead the way and if they're here I'll find them." She looked a bit nervous or worried, he was going to trust her get out of dodge instincts. She was a veteran as far as the situation here went. "They look sorta like those iphones. Any idea what they're running on?" Maybe he could track their service provider down.
He started to ask another question when another woman that seemed way too familiar joined them. He knew that face but from- WAIT. The Shadow cat? Oh crap. It was really awesome to see her and he grinned as he accepted her hand. He really hoped she wasn't here to lock him up for the greater good. "Yeah, she gave me the Welcome to Creepyville speech. Uh, I'm Wiccan from the Young Avengers."
