This past Saturday was Patrick's birthday. On Friday, Patrick and I drove to see my dad in Kentucky. He and his wife have a house by the lake. They have two dogs and two hyperactive foster kids, but seem fairly happy. Their motorboat wasn't working too well, so we couldn't drag each other around the lake on a tube. They had two kayaks, so we took those out Saturday morning. We also took the golf cart out for a spin. So, it was a very good birthday.
