After some coffee and some sort of breakfasty thing, at least I'm assuming that's what it was, I head over to the board to look at the surgeries for the day. Surgeries and paperwork are all you need in life

I see Meredith, and I walk over to her, tapping her on the shoulder. What Izzie said has been eating at me all night, and I'm going to get to the bottom of it. I'm going to find out exactly what was going on that night.

Someone taps me on the shoulder and I turn around, expecting a nurse or something, but it's Alex. Not exactly the person I wanted to see. "What's up?"

"We need to talk," I tell her. "Right now. Make time."

He doesn't want to talk any other time.

"Fine. What is it?"
