After some coffee and some sort of breakfasty thing, at least I'm assuming that's what it was, I head over to the board to look at the surgeries for the day. Surgeries and paperwork are all you need in life.
My eye isn't completely back to it's normal color yet, but we're getting there, which is why I'm out here before everyone else. I'm sure by now the rumors are overflowing about what happened. I haven't heard them though. I just hope they're good ones.
I go over to the nurses station and grab my charts for the day, there's no point in waiting around for an intern, we don't get them these days.
