Distraction
There's much more I should have been doing but after picking up sparkly paper from a shop at the Chinese Cultural Center Saturday, I decided I'd finally give crane making a go. I like my first attempt but will wait until after the New Year to dedicate the few hours needed for crane 2!

Day 3.5
The south side of the house gets hit pretty hard by the afternoon sun, even with the fancy interior blinds. I like drapes but don't like how they collect dust so I've been trying to figure out what a cheap, effective, easy, and novel diy window dressing might look like.
