Done.  I can't believe it. 
All but the crochet lace (being supplied by my mother as we speak) and the hem.  and the strap-things that really aren't important when worn with the corset *over* it( sometimes my camera works )

So, I set aside this week to make the wedding dress.  and the vest for Marty, too.  And I thought to myself, "Gee, it's been a while since I took the old machine in for a tune up.  I should do that before I start working on my yards and yards of precious silk."  So, I took it in Thursday.  Thank god I didn't take it in Friday, because they seem ( Read more... )

Bye Bye Birdie went on without any noticeable hitch... Jane and I like each other and she want to hire me for the Winter Musical next year. Either The School Version of Les Miserables... or Into The Woods.  Either way, I'm very excited.  Wendy and I also get along fabulously, and I'll be doing another kids acting camp the 2nd week of August.

    AnnaBananaLee Foster and her mother hosted a pancake dinner for shrove Tuesday last night.  I guess in the UK, Mardi Gras is called "Pancake day" and you eat pancakes and crepes.  Anna knows this because she was living in Ireland for like, 2 or 3 years.  *I* was confused.  Marty, of course, was like, "Pancake Day!  Sweet!"  (For anyone that ( Read more... )

Wedding woes...
After a week or more of PROMISING that we would start sending the 'save the dates'... we actually are getting them printed and SENT. 
Over 170 invitations.  If everyone comes (and we are seriously thinking most of Marty's family in England and Australia aren't gonna make it...) we'll have probably 350 people.
