The editrixes at Goblin Fruit have agreed to a "Déluge" as part of next year's Spring thaw. I will either need to hunt down foley for a rainstorm or stand outside with a microphone sometime this week. Also, Rose Lemberg has accepted "The Birth of Science Fiction" for reprinting in the feminist speculative poetry anthology, The Moment of Change.

A poem sold. Y'all can join me "On the Searoad" in the September issue of Jabberwocky, and you can totally blame sovay when the undertow pulls you down.

So that poetry sale I mentioned previously: "Mark Twain feels the storm" at some point in a future Ideomancer. stillnotbored made my month by laying claim to it as soon as I shared the draft. I celebrate by getting Stone Telling business done, and also watching some of Jim Henson's The Storyteller, which is currently available via Netflix's Instant Queue.

One poem sold, "Crowfunding," to the lovely Goblin Queens for the Spring 2011 issue. I must ponder how to get some crow sounds on the 'puter as background to a reading.

And probably I should send some poetry to Stone Telling before they come and take my internets away (my brain, I fear, might already be gone).

Four poems subbed, one in need of formatting for subbing, several others in need of likely places to lob them. Still chipping at the unworkable partial draft of the poem I meant to have done by the 25th.

The rest is stress.

There has been some additional fail we did not need. Seriously, this week can stop any time nowAt least I seem to be sleeping again. It's a sad thing when nightly maximum dosages of Ambien are ineffective for that sort of thing. I managed yoga yesterday, and must be sure to do so again today, because it helped.
