I am doomed to just cast-on forever, never knitting a stitch. I CANNOT FIGURE THIS OUT. Like, I can cast-on like MOFO, but I can't get a single fricking stitch after that. In EITHER style. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR DAYS. GRRRRRRRRRRRR.

ETA: AHAHAAH OMG. GUESS WHO JUST LEARNED TO KNIT?!?!? Thanks to this video, FYI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPQbdzBagBo&feature=related. I COULD NOT figure out where all the other people were pulled the needle through, but you couldn't miss it with those GIANT ASS NEEDLES. THIS IS MIRACULOUS.
