I've had some great success with yearly 2do lists for the past two years. I looked for the 2010 one on LJ, couldn't find it yet but that's OK. I have a paper copy, and I did pretty well.

I've been quiet the last week or so. Mostly because of a chance talking to an old high-school buddy of mine. Since he's still where he mainly lived all his life, and I moved on, he got me up to date on old high school mates of ours.

Just heard from my mom; The Filly, 8 Belles collapsed at the Kentucky Derby.

That's why my $20 means nothing to me now.

I think I'm truely done with betting on the Ky, Derby and now even watching it. I'll always be reminded of 8 Belles, and Barbaro if I do.
