I had suddenly realised how many fanfics I'd written in the past couple weeks, then posted on ff.net and on the Katara_Zuko LJ Community. Well, I've written another pointless one-shot and I'm taking what was a single story idea, and I'm turning it into a dumping ground of one-shots going nowhere. Really, it's just going to be a big pile of teases, I think.

There's this problem I have when I start thinking about possible fanfic plots. I tend to start from one image or one scene that I really want to see in writing. Then I work backwards, trying to figure out how my characters got there. Once I've got a backstory, I usually then try to figure out what happens next. And that's where my problems start.

Seriously. I did that Avatar: The Last Airbender series I mentioned in my last update, but the last story has Zuko and Katara sleeping together. Which, sadly, I hadn't realised I'd spent the whole series working up to it, but I had.
