Women on Numb3rs
Megaaaaaaaaaaaan! No, don't go! *whimpers* Well, I suppose if she had to leave, at least it was with a smile on her face and not in tears or a body bag. But damn, I'm gonna miss her. She was so awesome and smart and sweet and adorable--if one can characterize a badass female character as adorable. I think she's the closest I've come to having a female woobie since Faith.
Now I have to get used to new female characters, and that's never easy. The thing is, while I don't mind Liz Warner, while I don't find her annoying or OTT, I also don't connect with her at all. She's got plenty of likable traits, I'm sure, but she's no Megan Reeves.
I'm now on 5x01 and have met Nikki for all of 10 seconds. Um, I like her hair? Will reserve judgment on the rest until I've seen her in action.
Other random thoughts on Numb3rs:
1) David and Colby continue to be ridiculously married. They are definitely my slash pairing for this fandom!
1a) Colby trying to find a girlfriend in Season 4 is kind of sad/adorable. He must've been really lonely for a long time, and David took so long to warm up to him again. Poor baby!
2) The Don/Charlie incest squicks me way more than it used to and I really wish I didn't keep running into it.
3) Megan/Larry works so much better than I could've ever imagined. So cute! :D
4) I'm so bored with Don's love-life. Seriously, this isn't even a slasher's "ew, girls" thing. I'm just *so bored* with Don having issues with women. Pick one and stay with her, for God's sake. Or join Larry's monastery.
ETA: Ahahaha! David and Colby take turns looking in the truck of cars for dead bodies! :D They are the cutest things ever, I swear to God.
