Change of Plans: Friends Locking

I've always liked having an open journal. The problem is that I read it at work, a lot, and there have been too many times lately when people have materialized at my desk, reading over my shoulder before I even realized they were there. I'm still hanging on to an open journal, but I think I'll probably go this route eventually. Can't imagine my born again, evangelical coworkers reading my stuff *G*.

My co-workers aren't even born again Christians, and I shudder at the thought of them reading my LJ! *g*

I'll miss having an open journal, but hopefully the peace of mind I get from locking it will more than make up for it.

To me it's more an issue of privacy than of actual political disagreements. Most of the people I work with are pretty liberal, but they're still WORK people ( ... )

I totally agree. I like the people I work with, too. But I still feel that some sort of separation between work and life is not only healthy, but just a good idea for practical reasons.
