And Now for something completely different...
I'm finally getting around to posting this guy. Back when I got home from MFF last November I was totally exhausted. The pre-con rush, the con, and build up for the trip had made me full of tirednesses. So when I got back I did my best to take a few days off and relax. Unfortunately...I suck at doing nothing. Badly. By thursday evening I was hard at work at one of my pet projects - mask making!! In this case I wanted to try a character that was completely different then my usual organic furry work. This alien warrior mask was the result.
I'm used to texturing scales, or feathers, and fur....of course. My goal was to do something completely different. To create a mask that was smooth, at least partly inorganic looking, and alien inspired. He was loads of fun to work on! I have plans for more mask projects in the future; tho I probably wont have time until mid summer. In the meantime, I wanted to post him. Lemme know what you think! :)
