oh that was so funny! the whole thing made me snort, but this:

“You don’t have grey hair, Danno.”
“Oh, well, I suppose that’s true,” Danny says, slightly mollified. “Either way, my life would be simpler without you in it.”
“Should I go?”
“Of course not, you animal! Why would you even say such a stupid thing? How would I begin to explain to Gracie that her Uncle Steve just up and left? Sometimes I swear you have no sense, Steven, no sense at all,” Danny mutters as he walks away into his office.

had me doing an impersonation of a fish. Danny says my life would be simpler without you in it, to which Steve asks a valid question of should I do, then Danny tells him he makes no sense.

sometimes I think Danny rants to hear his own voice because will seriously contradict himself

ps: Steve totally struts! He does it to get Danny's attention

Thank you! And I agree on both counts: I think Danny speaks simply to hear himself (and with his voice, I can't really fault him for it) and Steve does strut for attention, he's like a peacock!

haha at peacock! one of the prompts at sd_ldws was peacock and almost everyone went for Steve being the one with the peacock/show off tendencies
